Considering the complexity and type of precast required, we will start discussing the project with our precast partners as early as possible in the specification process to design out any technical changes well before reaching approval of production drawings. This keeps the process lean and effective for all involved.
At this stage accurate delivery dates are provided and sequence of delivery can be discussed.
When approval has been given, there is a design freeze and production will commence. Once the first pieces are demoulded the Vico team will inspect, photograph and communicate to the project team to confirm the quality is as agreed.
Once the concrete has cured sufficiently a physical inspection by the Architect and client is recommended so as any defects can be addressed before dispatch, This is considerably more effective than remedying on-site or sending back to the factory.
